Introduction

Picture the scenario. You have just installed a new network or worse, you have inherited a system that was set up by a predecessor. Coupled with this is the fact that your main job is possible something other than IT Manager. The fact that you showed some initiative has now landed you the job. You also know from previous experience that something WILL go wrong with the network.

We recognise your situation, and it is a story that we have heard all too often. Therefore to assist you we have in place a range of support modules that can be tailored and drawn upon as per your specific requirements. This could be for example as a back-up insurance policy for the experienced IT Manager who only requires occasional help or the novice IT person who would rather hand over the total support back to a service provider such as Alpha.

The support modules include:

  - Telephone Help-desk
  - Remote Access Support
  - Scheduled Maintenance Visits (SMV's)
  - Ad-hoc Engineer visits (on-site)
  - Anti-Virus Updates and more...

We have three packages for you to choose from (Starter SupportPAC, Corporate SupportPAC and Enterprise SupportPAC) depending on the size of your organisation and specific requirements.



Cost Saver Rates

Alpha's Cost Saver Rates are designed to assist you in reducing the total cost of running and maintaining your computer network. Our structured support packages currently offer five ways in which to do so:

  1. Paying annually in full
    Alpha will give you a 20% discount if you choose to pay for your Telephone and Remote Diagnostics Support contract annually in advance (Corporate SupportPAC only). We do offer the option of a monthly payment plan, however because of the associated administrative costs there are no discounts with this option.

  2. Buying engineering days in advance
    This option allows you to save between 5% and 30% (on the Standard Day Rate) depending on the number of days you purchase in advance (StarterPAC & Corporate SupportPAC). Please note that the engineering costs for all new installation are charged at the full daily rate.

  3. Scheduling maintenance visits in advance
    You can save up to 33% on the standard day rate for ad-hoc engineering. These regular health checks on the state of your network are a key strategy for lowering the costs of ownership.

  4. Multiple site discounts
    This option automatically kicks in if you require telephones support for more that one site or remote access support for multiple servers. The discounts are between 20% (monthly payment in advance) and 36% (annually payment in advance).

  5. Site visits
    Site visits are logged and charged to nearest 15 minutes after the initial hour.
